Two New Plug-ins and WordPress 2.7

I really like the new interface (backend) for WordPress 2.7.  If you are another WordPress user, I hope you are sharing my joy.  They did move things around a bit, but I find the new arrangement to be very easy to acquire and navigate.

Also, I have added to new plug-ins into my blog which I wanted to plug for quickly.  They make a really nice pair.  The first is called Add to Any Share/Save/Bookmark Button and allows those who visit my spilt ink to add my posts to any (read: 100 or so) social networking site they might like—as well as add bookmarks or e-mail the posts.  So many choices.  You will find the tool located at the bottom of each post (before the comments).

The second is a plug-in, more or less, for that first plug-in.  It adds functionality for my visitors to subscribe to my blog using their favorite RSS feed reader or similar feature (again, with a wide variety of choices).  This one is called Add to Any Subscribe Button.

Even if you don’t use these services, I think you’ll appreciate the elegance of how compact and versitile this new plugin is.  Ya digg?

Life just keeps getting better…
